As part of the Goldfields Oasis Masterplan, the City is excited to start of our roof replacement project. This vital repair and restoration will ensure our award-winning facility remains a beloved destination for members, clubs, residents, visitors, and families for years to come.

Project Details

We’re committed to ensuring minimal disruption to patrons and members, with works to be undertaken in stages as detailed below:

Phase 1 – Initial works commence

September to October 2024

Roof replacement works will take place in sections, starting in the stadium and gym area.

Phase 2 – Secondary works commence

October to December 2024

Works will start to move throughout other areas of Centre.

The Centre will remain open

The Centre will remain open for the duration of the roof refurbishment project. To minimise disruption to patrons and operations, work will be scheduled outside of peak times (conducted predominately between 9am-4pm weekdays), around events and stadium bookings where possible.

A few things to note:

▪️For the safety of patrons some areas may experience temporary disruption whilst works are happening overhead of that immediate area. Where access is impacted to small sections of the Centre or some equipment in the gym, this will be limited to 2-3 consecutive days only.

▪️The outside boxing area will be closed for 6-8 weeks during the refurbishment, but the compound area will remain open.

▪️24-hour gym access will continue. Please access the gym through reception during the Centre's opening times. After hours access is as per normal.

▪️Oasis members will be provided with weekly updates every Friday via email and SMS so you can plan accordingly and stay informed about any temporary changes.
