From 6 April 2026, work will begin on upgrading the poolside changerooms at the Goldfields Oasis.

The poolside changerooms are a well‑used area of the facility, and this upgrade is part of the City’s ongoing work to look after and improve the Oasis for everyone who uses it.

The project includes upgrades to:

• Family & Female Changing Room
• Male Changing Room
• Universal Access Toilets 1 & 2

Works will be delivered in stages so that some changeroom facilities remain available wherever possible during construction.

Project Details

Upgrade works will take place from April to September 2026, with each changeroom area upgraded separately.

Project Stages:

Stage 1: Family & Female Changing Room

6 April – 24 June 2026

Stage 2: Male Changing Room

25 June – 12 August 2026

Stage 3: Universal Access Toilets 1 & 2

13 August – 11 September 2026

The Oasis will remain open for the duration of the project.

What this means for your visit

While works are underway:

• One changeroom area at a time will be temporarily closed
• Alternative changerooms and bathrooms will be available onsite
• Courtside and upstairs bathrooms will remain open
• Clear signage will be in place to help you find your way

Staff will be available at reception to assist with access and answer any questions.

Why is this upgrade happening?

This upgrade is part of the Goldfields Oasis Masterplan and reflects what the community has told us is needed.
The poolside changerooms are used by thousands of people each month, and this work will refresh a well‑used part of the facility so it’s more comfortable and accessible for everyone.
