About the project

As part of ongoing improvements at the airport, the City undertook resurfacing works on the pick-up and drop-off road in front of the terminal in October 2024.

These proactive repairs ensure the long-term sustainability of the road, preventing further damage, and avoiding the need for costly repairs in the future.

The works focused on the pick-up and drop-off loop directly outside the airport’s arrivals and departures area, which is exposed to wear and tear due to the high volumes of daily traffic.
