Phase Two - Keenan Street to Maritana Street Shared Path Project

The City of Kalgoorlie Boulder is planning for the construction of a Shared Use Path (SUP) on Maritana - Piccadilly - Keenan Street as shown in the drawing in the Document Library section of this page.

About the funding

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has received two Department of Transport’s Western Australian Bicycle Network (WABN) grants, to extend the city’s Cycling Network:

  • Phase Two - Keenan Street to Maritana Street Shared User Path Project
Stage 1
  • Project Cost: $400,000
  • City Contribution: $200,000
  • DoT Contribution: $200,000

Breakdown:

  • Design Works - 2022/23 FY - $20,000
  • Construction Works - June 2025 - $180,000
Stage 2
  • PlanningDesign completed and planned to complete construction on FY2025/26
  • Project Cost: $423900
  • Grant Value: $211,950
This project is jointly funded by the Department of Transport (WA Bicycle Network Grants) and City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The proposed SUP will connect to an existing SUP from Kalgoorlie Train station and will continue to Maritana Street up to Campbell Street.
