Youth Action Plan 2025-2029

Developing a plan for the youth, by the youth

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is developing a new Youth Action Plan 2025—2029 in partnership with the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA).

Why we are developing a Youth Action Plan

The aim of this Plan is to better understand what is important to young people in our community and identify what we need to do to make where they live, work, and play, the best place possible!

Youth Action Plan Survey

It is important that we learn about what issues matter to you and what you want for our city.

We want to hear from:

  • Young people aged 12 to 25 who live, work, study, volunteer and/or spend time in the City
  • Parents and caregivers of young people in the City
  • Community members who live, work, or volunteer in the City and want to have a say in the City's next Youth Action Plan

The survey will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Any potentially identifying information will be removed from the data before it is used.

The survey is now closed. The consultation findings will be presented to Council in December.
