What's happening on site

The milestone six-million-dollar project will see the transformation of Kingsbury Park into a purpose-built precinct for young people, supported by Lotterywest and the State Government. The project will create a space that resonates with the interests and aspirations of youth, making it a place they can truly call their own.

December Update

The construction of the pump track is getting there, with earthworks nearly complete and asphalting set to begin this week. New lighting has also been installed throughout the park.

October Update

With the underground and preliminary construction works done, we're now entering the exciting above-ground part of the project! Earthworks to shape the new pump track are underway, as well as construction of the second toilet block.

August Update

We've completed the demolition of the old structures and are now moving into the construction phase for our new Youth Precinct. Electrical and CCTV pre-lays are finished and new water and sewer systems installed. Construction of the new toilet amenities, installation of new lighting and CCTV infrastructure is now underway.

July Update

Trenching and underground works for electric and CCTV continue, while the demolition of park structures has started to make way for the new toilets, grandstand, and kiosk.

June Update

Our team have been continuing to work hard on trenching and underground works for electrical, CCTV, sewer, and water supply at Kingsbury Park. The next steps will be completing the sewer and water installations and starting on the new electrical works.
