Enter the Christmas Street Banner competition for your chance to have your artwork displayed on the streets of Kalgoorlie-Boulder during the festive season.

The winning designs will be featured on street banners throughout Hannan Street and Burt Street during November and December 2026.

Chosen designs will also receive $200 Kal Dollars!

How to Enter:

1. Download your artwork template via the button below or collect a copy from one of the following locations:

  • City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Administration Building | Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Goldfields Arts Centre | Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am - 3pm
  • William Grundt Memorial Library | Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm & Saturday, 9am - 12pm
  • Goldfields Oasis | Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 5am - 9pm & Weekends, 8am - 6pm

2. Create your design using the provided template. Entries may be completed using pencil, pen, markers, paint, or digital illustration.

3. Submit your completed entry by 3:00pm on Friday 31 August 2026. Physical entries can be dropped off at one of the locations listed above, while digital artwork entries can be submitted via the online form below.

Competition Rules:

  1. Competition theme is Christmas and the Festive season.
  2. All submissions must be original creations.
  3. Accepted mediums: Colour pencil, pen, marker, paint or digital illustration.
  4. Plagiarism, copying, or using AI-generated art will result in disqualification.
  5. By entering, participants agree that the City may display or publish the artwork for promotional purposes (with credit).
  6. Artwork must be submitted before 3:00pm on Monday, 31 August 2026.
  7. Final banner dimensions will be 840mm x 2640mm.
  8. Winners will be selected by the City Kalgoorlie-Boulder Marketing team.
